In a unexpected collaboration that challenges traditional expectations, the game developer has announced an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Uncovered

According to the formal announcement, "A mysterious confrontation pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The narrative features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden sect.

The mission concentrates on "peculiar trials and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Transformations

The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the adventure will obtain an unique katana in addition to numerous objects secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
