Arsenal's 10-game winning streak was ended by the Black Cats before the international break, however can the English top division frontrunners bounce back against north London rivals Tottenham this Sunday?
"{I feel like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a plan for this game," remarked soccer expert Chris Sutton.
"Frank will attempt to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating finest this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's side typically still manage to win."
The analyst is making predictions for all 380 Premier League fixtures this term, versus artificial intelligence, fans and a variety of special visitors.
For the twelfth round, he faces performer Olly Murs, who is a United fan.
Murs' new record, the new release, is out on the weekend.
Olly is a talented footballer as well as a successful singer and has been a featured player of several charity football games down the years - but he is not planning a professional return as a player.
"{I actually played in a charity game the other evening for a friend of mine," he explained. "My team was losing 3-1 when I came off in the second half, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you want!
"I continue to love football, but I hurt my joint a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the uncertainty of the sport means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it properly again.
"Plus I am forty-one now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am gearing up for the moment that my child or boy decides to play instead."
Murs and his wife Amelia Tank have a young family, their daughter and their son, and he is ready to emulate his dad by taking on the role of their coach.
"I will not force football on our children but I've previously told my wife that if they do get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will probably be coaching their Saturday soccer side," he added.
"I observed my relatives play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously was involved with a football club for a period too.
"My dad coached with us when I was a child, which is likely where I get it from. He managed our team for several years and had a wonderful time with it. That could be the next step for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"
The Blues might have to be patient for Cole Palmer's comeback from injury but their attack is already stronger with Pedro and Delap both returned to fitness.
In my opinion this game will be quite tight, however. The Clarets are disciplined and their sole home defeats so far have been against Liverpool and Arsenal.
This suggests a one-all tie to me, but I am in fact going to choose the London side to edge it for what would be their third Premier League win in a row.
Sutton's forecast: 1-2
Olly's prediction: Chelsea will be superior. 1-3
AI's prediction: 0-2
Bournemouth have lost their past two games - although both of them were on the road - but they got absolutely spanked by Aston Villa last time out which shocked me.
On the other hand, West Ham secured back-to-back victories before the hiatus and, although both of those games were at home, they appear strong again.
West Ham's only on the road victory this season came at Nottingham Forest in August, when their boss Nuno was still that team's coach.
So, what exactly do I predict here - will it be West Ham extending their run under their manager, or Bournemouth responding?
I will choose the Cherries, because I think what happened against Aston Villa was a blip.
The pundit's prediction: 2-0
The guest's outlook: Bournemouth are performing strongly but the visitors have picked up under Nuno. 2-2
AI's prediction: 1-1
Brentford were seen as one of the favourites for relegation before the season started, but they have impressed a several observers under their manager and are in fine fettle with three wins in their past four games.
A family member advised me to select Brentford striker Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks back and, guess what, I didn't listen.
The forward will likely score again on the weekend but I am still not going to pick him or back the away side at Amex Stadium.
They have not had much fortune on the travel this term, and Brighton are always strong at home. Brentford will try to attack on the break but I think the home manager's side carry much more of a danger.
The analyst's forecast: 2-1
Olly's view: It could be one of those games where you expect there is going to be a many goals but it in reality proves to be quite close. 1-1
The computer's prediction: 2-1
It is a massive game for Fulham, who have lost five of their past six matches.
Fulham have got plenty of quality in their squad but it still feels like they could be dragged into a relegation fight.
Regarding the Black Cats, indeed they are the surprise package of the Premier League campaign so far.
Their display in the two-all draw with the Gunners last time out was superb. We've not witnessed any other team disrupt the Gunners like that this season, and they were more than a match for them.
The logical choice to do to back the Black Cats here, because they are clearly able of disrupting Fulham up too and, the last time they were in this part of London, they defeated the Blues at the close of last month.
But I am not choose that. Rather, I truly need to carry on going against Sunderland with my forecasts. I am claiming a lot of responsibility for their positive outcomes because they clearly love to defy my predictions.
Looking at the home side's home record, the only team they have lost to is the league leaders. Their manager's side will be extremely eager for a positive result, so I am going to say they will pick up three points.
The expert's forecast: 1-0
Olly's prediction: I know the visitors are doing well and also that Fulham are on a poor run... but Fulham have still been decent at home this campaign. 2-0
AI's outlook: 2-0
This is a hard fixture to call. Liverpool have suffered seven of their past 10 games in every tournament, but might they be among the teams who profit from the {international break|
